Why is Itzazu® color changing soap better than the competition?
Itzazu® color changing hand soaps teach the child proper hand wash techniques at a young age. It is an interactive system that makes it fun for the child, as they have to chase down and pop the beads resulting in a “paint the hands” type of game. The beads are specially formulated to take 15-20 seconds to break when properly chased and popped.

Why the different colors of soaps?
Itzazu® provides a color choice / variation for your child. Let your child pick his or her favorite – the idea is to make hand-washing fun. So if they like the pink to purple, or yellow to green or clear to blue let them pick the one they like – also alternate colors for more variety to keep them interested.

Why this bottle and pump?
Itzazu® selected the short round bottle to be more stable for young children, we also have specially engineered the pump to be water tight (if knocked into the sink with water will not contaminate) as well as the pump is over 25% easier for small children to dispense the soap = less down pressure for them.

Does Itzazu® come in a refill size?
While Itzazu® soaps will not grow bacteria in the bottle, we do not feel that a person should refill the bottle due to possible cross contamination during the transfer as well as the potential ongoing contamination of the pump.

Does Itzazu® contain animal by-products?
Itzazu® is proud to stand by our parent companies policy of no animal testing, no animal by-products in any of our products.

Does Itzazu® contain Triclosan?
At this time our research has shown that anti-bacterial hand soaps do not offer any added benefits when compared to following proper hand wash techniques. This has also been confirmed in numerous other tests by other labs as well as documented that the levels of triclosan (a mild antibiotic) maybe creating mutant strains of bacteria that eventually become resistant to antibiotics.

Does Itzazu® Color Changing Hand Soap stain?Itzazu® color changing beads contain water soluble pigment and should not stain any typical sink or counter top, however it is recommended that any residual leftover beads be rinsed from counter top, sink, faucet or clothing immediately after washing to ensure that there is no staining.

How much soap should be used?
Itzazu® color changing hand soap amount will vary by the size of the child’s hands as well as waste factor (technique of child) we recommend 3-5 ml to start and increase as needed. You want the amount to be enough to yield good color change and take 15-20 seconds to chase and pop all beads. This should be 1-1 ½ down stokes of the pump for the child.
